As well as being one of the best known archaeological practices in the country, Wessex Archaeology is a charity with a focus on promoting public understanding and enjoyment of archaeology whilst undertaking commercial projects and furthering academic research.

We disseminate information about projects through our publications as well as our access and learning programmes, and illustration is a key part of this work.

Our Graphics Department is one of Britain’s leading teams of archaeological illustrators with considerable expertise in visualising the past via meaningful and appealing imagery.

Archaeological illustration encompasses many techniques, from carefully measured artefact drawings to digital 3D graphics and animation.

You can find out more about the team and their work on the Wessex Archaeology website
